This course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles of crochet, teaching students how to create foundation chains, single & double crochet stitches, as well as finishing techniques. The curriculum also covers other useful topics, including a brief introduction to pattern reading, stitch anatomy, counting, stitch marker usage & gauge assessment. Although the course focuses on developing skills rather than completing a particular project, students will gain essential knowledge and a few beginner-level patterns are included with this course for immediate application.
Materials you need (not included):
>>any skein of worsted or aran weight yarn
>>crochet hook (size needed will be what is suggested for your yarn selection)

>>Crochet Reference Guide (7-page PDF digital file and 1 hard copy provided on first day of class)
